I’ve always tried to focus on health rather than simply losing weight. To me, it’s way more important to be healthy than to be “skinny.”
By nature, I am an extremely busy person. I thrive on a busy schedule. I’m the president of a club, a student, a tutor, an active member of my (working on it) faith. I’m always doing something.
I’ve been back at school for 3 weeks, and I’m exhausted and worn out. I’m tired all the time, I spend my entire weekend from Friday at 3 to Sunday at 8 not wanting to get out of bed. I’m beat.
I know myself well enough to know that I won’t drop any of my activities, but there are things I can actively do to combat my dilemma.
One of those things being EAT HEALTHIER. Eating healthy gives a natural energy and overall good feeling. It feels good to eat good. I feel good when I eat good.
Another thing I can do is use my free time to move and be active. I have incredible time management skills. Even though I have meetings every day, I have free time every day. And what do I do? Sit on my but and do nothing.
It’s just not right.
I need to start treating my body like it deserves. It deserves the best fuel. It deserves to stay active. It deserves to be healthy.
I deserve to be healthy.
